Matthew is Contemporary Worship Leader of the Forge. He also works as a Site Director of an after-school program for elementary and middle school-aged children. Matthew is an alumnus of Johnson University in Knoxville, TN, where he majored in Ministry Leadership and Biblical Studies.

Ashley is a part of the praise team and wife of Matthew. Ashley is an alumnus of Johnson University and is a licensed marriage and family therapist. Ashley works as Assistant Director of Clinical Services at a counseling center of a university in the area.

Matthew and Ashley have a desire to open the Forge to those who have experienced church hurts and looking for a loving setting.
